Insha and Noor are two women's livelihood units initiated under the larger project - Humayun's Tomb - Sunder Nursery - Nizamuddin Basti Urban Renewal Initiative of the Aga Khan Development Network in partnership with the Archeological Survey of India, Municipal Corporation of Delhi and Central Public Works Department. The units share a common objective of raising the income levels of the women involved by providing livelihood support to them and simultaneously honing their skill set in the process.
Insha craft centre is a women's group of Nizamuddin Basti, Delhi, where they practice crafts like aari and hand embroidery, crochet and tailoring and produce contemporary products using traditional skills. Each product is hand crafted.
