Kalabai Shyam is a Gond Painting artist from Patangarh village of Madhya Pradesh. At present, she lives in Bhopal and practices Gond Painting. Her husband Anand Kumar Shyam is also a Gond Painting artist. They have won several awards together and individually. In 2001-02 Kalwati received Scholarship award from the ministry of arts and culture. Anand Kumar Shyam won Madhya Pradesh Gold Medal Award for Folk Art in Kalanand Art contest 2017. They come from the award winning family like Scotland award and National award.
