Hang this unique Dokra wall art depicting tribal dance onto your walls to enhance ethnic, premium look. It is handmade using recycled brass by artisans from Chattisgarh. The wooden frame is also hand chiseled and adds to overall ethnic look of the hanging. These artisans have been practising this unique metal craft for hundreds of years and at present this is their only source of livelihood.

The hanging is made using a unique metal craft, called Dokra or Dhokra, which is practised by artisans of Chattisgarh for the last hundreds of years and is the only source of livelihood for them. Dhokra is a traditional tribal method of lost wax casting of brass with every piece being unique.They use recycled brass to create these exclusive pieces.

Jai Ram Solanki a 3rd generation artisan empanelled with Government of India has his whole family practicing the Dhokra art in a village situated about 100 kms from Raipur, Chattisgarh. The core group consists of 20 artisans who have been indulged in Dhokra painting for over 100 years.
